As regards the public sector, BPI Romania participated, including with a sound expertise from the Group at European level, to the implementation of many EU-funded projects in various fields such as: training for local and national public authorities, social inclusion, social benefits, promotion and development of social economy, vocational evaluation and labour market integration for persons with a disability, social services institution building, support to young entrepreneurs, training and skills upgrade in the field of child early education and development a.o.
Strictly related to increasing employment among young persons, BPI implemented as a national partner a 3-year strategic project called ”An inclusive labour market in rural areas”, which ended in 2013. The project targeted young persons aged 16 to 35 living in rural areas in 7 counties of Romania: Alba, Arad, Cluj, Dolj, Iasi, Prahova and Tulcea. It aimed at both developing the entrepreneurial skills of young people and delivering need-oriented training courses to facilitate their access to the labour market. As a result of the project’s successful implementation, and as a recognition of its results, the project Beneficiary i.e. the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly Persons, described the project as a best practice.
Throughout all similar projects that BPI carried out, the company acquired the most extensive and notable experience in career counselling and labour market intermediation services on the Romanian private consulting market.
